FAQs Thanks

I’m back from a nice break visiting Watchet, Minehead, Porlock, Lynton, Combe Martin and Ilfracombe.  Nice weather, good food and an air display thrown in for good measure!

Before I went on holiday I ask various people for input to and feedback on some Frequently Ask Questions (FAQ) pages I wanted to add to the site. So a big thank you to Elaine, Richard, Maggie for their feedback and input but also to the many parents, fencers, teachers, scout and guide leaders and community group organisers from across South Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire, who’s questions have been used to compiled the questions on the FAQ pages. Your contribution, direct or indirect have been invaluable.

The FAQ pages ban be found under the ‘About Fencing’ menu and cover questions you might have about fencing or hosting fencing in different circumstances and have question that need answering please look on the pages titled:

  • Clubs FAQ
  • Schools FAQ
  • Community Groups FAQ
  • Competitions FAQ
If your question have been answered great, if not please don’t hesitate to contact me via the details in the Contact page of this site. Who knows your question might lead to a new entry on one of the FAQs.

Sky+ What an invention

It has to be said I’m not a fan of monopolistic companies in general and Sky in particular but we recently had a Sky+ box installed. What a difference it has made to our viewing life! Watching the fencing on Sky+ has been a real joy, no hanging about waiting for the action to start. Just record, fast forward and watch when its convenient! Saved hours and I’ve still got it available to view again. Just a pity there was no alternative service.
